What is Step-A-Way?

Step A Way Nursery School is an outreach ministry of the church. It is a part-time, state-accredited, multi-denominational Christian preschool offering quality programs for children ages two to five years of age. We offer age-appropriate learning activities in a loving and nurturing environment that recognizes each child's uniqueness. Our play-based curriculum uses the State Department of Education's Preschool goals as the basis for creative learning experiences.

Is Step-A-Way a Baptist pre school?

Step-A-Way is not designed as a "Baptist" pre-school. We teach children from all denominations and creeds. It is designed to be a safe place for children with a Christian atmosphere that is welcoming to children and families from various faith avenues. Our staff is Christian and our church setting is Christian, yet we are welcoming and respectful to differing religious views. We may say a blessing at snack time or pray for a child when they skin their knee, but rest assured our heart is to nurture, instruct and protect every child entrusted to our care.
